This product is made from freshly extracted grapefruit juice derived from sound fruit of the species Citrus paradisi that have been washed and graded to remove unsound fruit. The juice shall have good color and flavor. Predominant cultivars processed include Rio Red, Star Ruby and Redblush (Ruby). Product is pasteurized to deliver a 5 log reduction for the pathogen of concern per 21 CFR Part 120, Juice HACCP and Pathogen reduction.
