The volatile oil obtained by expression without the use of heat from the fresh fruit Citrus Paradisi Macf. (family Rutaceae). This oil is an intensely amber-colored liquid having the characteristic odor of the fruit. It has been winterized to remove most of the waxy substances that precipitate upon mixing with alcohol.
